Nissaki Sea View
Stay at Nissaki Sea View, Corfu this summer
The village of Nissaki is one of northeast Corfu's hidden gems, a destination that offers a calming ambience, panoramic views and a beautiful cove with a harbour, shingle beach and some of the most vivid, turquoise and crystal clear waters on the island. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday, and yet with its local bus connections and boat excursions it also allows for exploration further afield.
A stone's throw above the harbour and beach (3 minutes' walk), the Nissaki Sea View is a small group of 14 apartments: 10 one bedroom apartments, 3 two bedroom apartments and 1 three bedroom apartment. Each has a balcony with wonderful views towards the sea and across the Ionian to Corfu Town - a scene that is particularly resplendent at the break of dawn when the sun rays seep above the horizon and at night when the shining lights of the Venetian city can be enjoyed on the horizon. The apartments share a swimming pool (120m2), children's pool, sun terrace backed by olive groves and a restaurant serving breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
There is an immense local charm here. Whether dining at one of the oldest tavernas in Corfu on the harbour front, or at one of the further three tavernas in the village centre you'll be surrounded by locals and visitors savouring the authentic air. Four more tavernas and a couple of mini markets can be found within a 15 minute walk.
Whilst you'd be forgiven for not venturing far during your stay, for those who wish you'll find a local bus stop within 50m and connections south to Corfu Town and north towards Kassiopi. A dive school can be found at the harbour (you must hold a PADI licence to dive below 6m) alongside boat rentals and an excursion company.
Note: Our rooms are located on the ground floor and furthest from the pool. Due to the hillside location and a number of steps in the property we would not recommend Nissaki Sea View to anyone with mobility difficulties.
