Stay at the Anthilia Cottages this summer
This pair of beautiful cottages enjoy peaceful rural surroundings within a ten minute walk of Sivota village and a choice of beaches. They are new (2022) and furnished and equipped to a very high standard.
Entrance from the porch is into a bright and spacious living room with a sofa and an open-plan full kitchen with dining area. Each cottage possesses one double and one twin bedroom (can be made up as a double on request) and a modern walk-in shower room. Mod cons include air conditioning in all rooms, WiFi, smart TV (all rooms), dishwasher, washing machine, espresso coffeemaker, hairdryer and safety deposit box. Decor throughout is stylish, modern and light.
Outdoor terraces overlook the garden, which has ancient olive trees, and a feature made of the ruins of an old stone building which is atmospherically lit in the evening. There are fine views to the hills behind Sivota.
Car hire would be useful but is not essential here as two beaches are within a 6-8 minute walk - popular Zavia (600m), which is organised and has a beach snack bar; and, 500m in the other direction, a very lovely hidden cove just waiting to be discovered. The entrance to Sivota village, where you will find the first tavernas and shops, is a 10 minute walk (700m), and it is the same distance again to the harbour. However the slightly elevated location of the cottages means that a car would be necessary for anyone with walking difficulties.
